Why meditation is absolutely necessary to every-one of us

Human world is not an easy place to live in. We have to feed ..

it’s not just physical food, its mental food ..status, wealth, opinions, people etc..

hunger of the body is nothing compared to hunger of the mind.There’s our unlimited desires meet with limited source of mental food.

Its about your image in the world, just like some fishes fighting for the last cup of water, pushing each other our of the way …

and so what you do? you have choice of continuously keep feeding feeding feeding or you step back take a look at sources of the hunger and decide the priority …

our mind always has a sense that the food it already has is never enough. It’s sitting here feeding about one thing and seeking for whats next, where is the next place, should I stay here, is there something else that needs to be feed….what’s next, where’s next !!!

These are the questions that keep driving the mind ..

Thing that we don’t see is how our habit of feeding is causing suffer to ourselves and to the people …

It’s about learning to step back …and seeing how what you are doing that instead of giving nourishment causing suffering in the act of finding nourishment…

what we forget is that urge of feeding your mind in order to keep everything running causes lot of stress, distraction, depression …

worried about this, stressed about that, jealous about this, sad about that …

we feed our mind in a way that is really unhealthy …

Life is like being on the ladder…you go up a step, hold on the grip, when comfortable, take a next step, loosen the lower one, leave the lower on an go up … and you keep doing this until you reach the top and that’s the place where you can let go off the ladder entirely ..

It gets you out of the rat race …

and focusing your mind on whats really necessary, what really you need is what we all are looking for …

you can train your mind to let go of that question of what’s next, where to go next !!! you realize that you don’t need to answer that question anymore …

you still need to feed, keep feeding right here at your breath…do meditation !! Because when you do that…at that moment, you realize that this is your breath ! Its totally your game …

Meditation is a combination of  actually having a comfortable physical space to start with…and its where we try to work with the breath trying to notice where in the body do you feel the breathing ..does it feel comfortable !!!

It’s a part of learning how to step back and reflect on your actions to see what you are doing in search of nourishment is actually causing you a discomfort ..a stress, a suffering !!!

and you do it, you practice meditation because when your mind is centered, it can put lot of your food hunger aside .. its not quite so driven. You’re still feeding but the food is much better …
